I feel so fortunate to have spent my working life in the travel industry, spending almost 40 years with Thomas Cook, and that took me all over the world. Sailing on the Great Barrier Reef, finding out that the islands and seas in the Seychelles really are out of this world and sipping sundowners marvelling at the sights and sounds of the African Bush on safari are just a few of my many travel highlights.

Equally I have spent marvellous holidays closer to home, including travelling all over Italy, and motoring along the fabulous Cote D'Azur.

As I am now semi retired, I still get to spend much of the winter on the Gulf Coast of Florida - and have covered many miles over in the USA. Lockdown made me realise how much travel is still (and always has been) an immensely important part of my life - and I was truly thrilled to be asked to join More Travel, as the knowledge and experience in the team means there's really very few places that we haven't been between us and working with like minded travel enthusiasts is marvellous - and I still get such a thrill meeting lovely people who want to travel the world using us as their guides.
