Here’s a tip:

To appreciate the true beauty of Antigua, take to the water for a sail around the islands. Live like local and enjoy Sunday afternoon at Shirley Heights where you’ll find a huge party with BBQ, steel Bands and dancing

Famous for its 365 beaches, one for each day of the week, Antigua is a pretty island with secluded bays, bays filled with sailing boats and a diverse range of hotels. There’s a distinct English accent to the island and you’ll feel like you’ve stepped back to the days of the East India Trading Company!

Properties range from the fabulous private island of Jumby Bay where guests can choose from huge private villas to beautiful rondavels. There is a good range of superb dining options, watersports, tennis courts and private nanny service – perfect for luxury lovers seeking some seclusion and privacy. On the mainland there are a good choice of upmarket property is Carlisle Bay has wonderful sporting and family facilities, Blue Waters offers 5* hotel with a good all-inclusive option – somewhat unusual in the Caribbean!

When to go: The Island has a beautiful year-round climate mid 20’s to early 30’s. The summer months of May though to October, will be more hot and humid with the chance of storm systems passing through. The prices generally reflect the increased chance of rain although Antigua is usually evenly priced throughout the year with ultra-high season being January through end of Easter.
