Here’s a tip:

Hire a jeep and explore the island, you’ll find laid back local parishes, acres of sugar cane fields and deserted East coast beaches! Visits the Oistins Friday Fish Fry for a giant BBQ of locally caught fish and dancing the night away with locals.

One of the most popular Caribbean islands for our guests who are drawn to the perfect white sand, palm fringed beaches of the West Coast. There’s a huge range of hotels to choose from small, sociable beachfront properties such as Lone Star to the utterly fabulous Sandy Lane.

Barbados is a great choice for guests that like to be able to leave the hotel, an easy walk from most West coast hotels will give you a very great evening out from local Macaroni Pie and Fresh Fried Chicken traders and little rum shacks with chilled out tunes to some of the Caribbean swankiest restaurants and smartest bars.

The East Coast is bashed by big Atlantic waves which makes it a dramatic choice for those looking for something a little different.

When to go: Barbados has year-round temperatures between mid-20’s and early 30’s. January to the end of Easter is high season with near perfect weather, guests wishing to travel at this time must book early as the hotels fill quickly. June – October is considered low seasons due to the rise in temperature and humidity and the chance of rain. In our experience the rain or “Bajan liquid sunshine” is usually a welcome reprieve in the later afternoon and rarely causes any disturbance. Storm systems do occasionally pass through over the summer – but prices drop dramatically to reflect the change in seasons!
