Everything you need to know about Domes Resorts
A few years ago, Domes still felt like one of Greece’s best-kept hotel secrets. Now, it’s becoming something much bigger.
The brand has evolved from a small collection of stylish Greek beach resorts into one of Europe’s fastest-growing lifestyle hospitality groups, with 19 luxury properties across Greece, Portugal and Spain, major partnerships with Marriott and Hilton, Michelin recognition, entirely new hotel concepts launching, and a noticeable shift into villa-style and experience-led travel.
And importantly, Domes has managed to grow without losing the thing that made people book the hotels in the first place: personality.
At More Travel, we’ve seen a huge increase in clients asking specifically for Domes properties over the last 18 months – particularly travellers who previously defaulted to larger international luxury brands but now want something with more identity, stronger design and a closer connection to the destination.
Because Domes doesn’t really operate like a traditional resort company anymore.
The portfolio now spans adults-only lifestyle hotels, ultra all-inclusive beach resorts, luxury villa stays, wellness-led escapes and design-forward family hotels across Crete, Corfu, Halkidiki, Rhodes, Milos, Santorini, Zante, Paxos, Tenerife, the Algarve and the Athens Riviera.
And each collection is intentionally different.
Understanding the different Domes brands
Domes Originals

This is the heart of the Domes portfolio – the hotels that established the brand’s reputation in the first place.
Domes Originals centres around refined Mediterranean resort living: strong architecture, beautiful beach settings, thoughtful family spaces, destination-led dining and hotels that feel deeply connected to where they are rather than interchangeable luxury resorts that could exist anywhere.
The collection currently includes Domes of Corfu, Domes Lake Algarve, Domes Novos Santorini and the newly added Domes Baobab Suites in Tenerife, marking the brand’s expansion into Spain.
These are also probably the most versatile hotels within the wider Domes world. Some work brilliantly for families, others lean more towards couples or longer summer stays, but they all share the same broader identity: contemporary luxury with a stronger sense of place, culture and atmosphere than many traditional Mediterranean resort brands.
And unlike many larger hotel groups, Domes Originals doesn’t try to standardise the experience across every property. Domes Lake Algarve feels completely different to Santorini, Tenerife or Corfu – which is exactly why the collection works so well for travellers wanting resort-style ease without losing the personality of the destination itself.
Domes Aulūs

This is probably the biggest shift happening within the Domes world right now. Aulūs is Domes’ reimagined ultra all-inclusive concept – designed specifically around the rise in demand for more elevated, design-conscious all-inclusive travel amongst millennials, couples and families.
In practice, that means:
proper cocktails,
excellent Greek wines,
contemporary restaurants,
wellness programming,
DJ evenings,
grab-and-go beach dining,
and resorts that still feel stylish after dark.
Absolutely no buffet queues and fluorescent wristbands.
The brand is expanding aggressively in 2026 with the launch of Aulūs Chania in Crete and Aulūs Lindos Rhodes, both joining Curio Collection by Hilton.
Aulūs Chania will focus more heavily on adults-only travel and lifestyle energy, while Aulūs Lindos Rhodes leans into premium family travel with Montessori-inspired kids’ clubs, private-pool suites and multi-bedroom accommodation for larger groups.
It’s also interesting seeing Domes position all-inclusive travel differently from many traditional resort brands. The language around Aulūs focuses heavily on “easy, generous and deeply authentic” travel experiences rooted in local culture rather than volume-based resort hospitality.
Domes Noruz

Noruz is the adults-only lifestyle side of the brand – and probably the collection with the strongest fashion, wellness and nightlife energy.
These are the hotels for travellers who still want beach clubs, DJs, cocktails and social atmospheres, but without losing the cleaner, more design-conscious Domes aesthetic.
Domes Noruz Chania remains one of Crete’s best lifestyle hotels, while Domes Noruz Kassandra brings the same adults-only energy to Halkidiki.
This side of the portfolio performs especially well for couples, groups of friends and shorter luxury escapes where atmosphere matters just as much as the beach itself.
Domes Reserves

This is the quieter, more elevated side of the Domes world.
Domes Reserves focuses on smaller-scale luxury, privacy and highly personalised stays – the hotels and enclave experiences designed for travellers wanting a slower, more exclusive atmosphere without losing the wider Domes lifestyle identity.
Properties like Domes Miramare Corfu and Domes White Coast Milos sit naturally within this world, alongside newer concepts like Chora at Domes of Elounda – the adults-only enclave launching in 2026 with its own sea-facing pool, Italian dining concept and more private resort experience.
This is also where Domes leans furthest into its “Mediterranean intellectual luxury” positioning: calmer hotels, more design focus, stronger wellness and culinary experiences, and a noticeably more tailored pace throughout the stay.
Several properties within the wider Reserves collection have also recently received Michelin Keys, including Domes White Coast Milos and Domes Zeen Chania.
Domes Finds

This is the newest – and arguably most interesting – direction for the brand.
Domes Finds moves away from traditional resort hotels entirely and into smaller, concept-led stays designed around privacy, architecture and slower Mediterranean living. Think design villas, restored houses and boutique properties with a much stronger sense of individuality and place. Super colourful, too.
The collection now includes Neema Maison Santorini, Agali Hotel Paxos and the newly relaunched Pleiades Blossomhill Houses in Crete. Each property feels intentionally different, but they’re connected by the same broader idea: more independent, emotionally driven travel experiences that sit somewhere between a luxury villa and a boutique hotel.
Neema Maison in Santorini feels worlds away from the island’s larger caldera hotels – private cave-style residences, earthy interiors and a quieter, more residential atmosphere. Agali Hotel Paxos leans into the slower rhythm of the Ionian Islands, with sea-facing suites, understated design and the kind of setting where days disappear between boats, swimming and long lunches by the water.
And then there’s Pleiades Blossomhill Houses near Agios Nikolaos in Crete, relaunched in 2026 as part of the Finds collection. The property includes nine private pool houses overlooking the Mirabello Gulf, combining villa-style living with access to Domes hospitality and nearby facilities at Domes of Elounda.
So, which Domes Resort hotel would we pick for you?
Domes of Elounda, Crete
Still one of the strongest luxury family resorts in Greece. Huge suites and villas overlooking Spinalonga island, excellent family facilities and now home to the new adults-only Chora enclave launched in 2026.
Domes Zeen Chania, Crete
One of the most design-led family hotels in Greece right now. Earth-toned villas, outdoor living, strong wellness programming and a much more contemporary feel than many traditional Cretan resorts.
Domes Miramare, Corfu
Adults-only, beautifully calm and very polished without feeling overly formal. Particularly good for couples wanting Corfu without the louder beach-club atmosphere elsewhere on the island.
Domes White Coast Milos
Minimalist, sea-facing suites built directly into the volcanic coastline of Milos. Quiet, architectural and ideal for couples wanting somewhere more understated.
Domes Lake Algarve, Portugal
A very strong all-rounder for families wanting Portugal with proper resort facilities, excellent pools and direct access to the Algarve coastline.
91 Athens Riviera
One of the most interesting additions to the portfolio – luxury cabanas and glamping-style accommodation beside Athens with a much more urban, social atmosphere than the island resorts.

Why book Domes Resorts with More Travel?
Part of what makes Domes so interesting now is the sheer range within the portfolio. A stay at Domes Zeen in Crete feels completely different to Domes Miramare in Corfu, an Aulūs resort or one of the newer villa-style Domes Finds properties – which is exactly why having somebody who knows the hotels properly becomes so useful.
As a luxury travel partner of Domes, Marriott Bonvoy and Hilton, we’re also able to offer additional privileges across selected properties, including upgrades (subject to availability), hotel credits, complimentary breakfasts, VIP welcomes and added-value extras not always available online.
But more importantly, we know which hotels suit which type of trip. The quieter corners, the best room categories for families, the resorts that work best for couples, and the properties worth stretching the budget for. Choosing between Crete, Corfu, Milos, Rhodes, the Algarve, or the Athens Riviera is one thing. Choosing between the different Domes brands is another entirely.
