As the co-founder of More Travel Stamford, Richard leads the operational and strategic side of the business. Having studied Business Management at university, he brings decades of expertise in efficiencies, financial management and structured business planning, ensuring the company runs smoothly and consistently delivers the high standards clients expect.
Richard’s love of travel complements his professional expertise, giving him a practical understanding of what makes a journey seamless and enjoyable. He is particularly attentive to the details that make all the difference – from logistics and timing to problem-solving and ensuring every element is carefully planned. Outside of work, Richard enjoys golf and exploring new destinations, bringing the same curiosity, energy and attention to detail to his personal passions as he does to the business.
His structured approach helps ensure More Travel Stamford operates with precision, reliability and confidence, allowing clients to focus entirely on enjoying their experiences. Every journey is carefully managed yet still exciting and full of possibility, reflecting the same passion for travel and discovery that drives the company’s ethos.
As joint Managing Partner alongside Helen, Richard oversees the operational side of More Travel, ensuring the business runs seamlessly and stays ahead of industry developments.
A lifelong traveller with a taste for adventure, he seeks experiences that combine exploration with discovery – hiking to remote temples in Sri Lanka, sleeping under the stars in the Sahara, or embarking on a cross-country campervan journey across the United States. While luxury is part of the itinerary, Richard’s trips always include a sense of challenge, curiosity, and hands-on adventure.
His approach to travel is thoughtful and balanced, blending active exploration with moments of indulgence, ensuring every journey delivers both excitement and comfort.
