Sani Beach

If you’re visiting Sani Resort for the first time, this is where we’d start the conversation.

As the original hotel in the collection, Sani Beach occupies one of the resort’s best positions, sitting between Cape Sani’s golden sands on one side and the lively marina on the other. It’s wonderfully easy to navigate, with restaurants, boutiques and the wider resort all within a pleasant walk, making it feel connected to everything Sani has to offer.

It’s also the largest of the five hotels, but rarely feels overwhelming. The layout helps enormously. Spacious gardens, multiple pools and two beautiful beaches mean guests naturally spread out throughout the day, whether that’s by the adults-only pool, beside the sea or wandering down to the marina for lunch.

Accommodation ranges from contemporary double rooms to generous family suites, many with uninterrupted Aegean views. Families gravitate towards the larger suites, while couples often choose the sea-facing rooms for their peaceful outlook.

The dining is another major strength. As with every Sani hotel, you’ll have access to restaurants across the wider resort, but staying at Sani Beach places many of them within easy walking distance. From relaxed beachfront lunches to marina-side dinners, there’s always somewhere different to try without ever needing to think too much about logistics.

And then there’s the beach itself. Calm, shallow water, attentive beach service and plenty of space make it particularly well suited to families, while older children and teenagers have easy access to everything from watersports and sailing to the Rafa Nadal Tennis Center and Chelsea FC Foundation Football Academy.

Porto Sani

Everything about Porto Sani has been designed to make family holidays feel wonderfully uncomplicated.

Unlike the other hotels, every room here is a suite, immediately giving families more space to spread out. The atmosphere is calm and residential, with low-rise buildings wrapped around landscaped gardens and pools, just a short stroll from Sani Marina.

Location plays a huge part in Porto Sani’s appeal. The marina, boutiques, children’s facilities and many of the resort’s restaurants are only a few minutes away on foot, which makes life noticeably easier when you’re travelling with little ones who suddenly decide they’re hungry, tired or ready for bed.

The pools have been thoughtfully designed too, with dedicated children’s areas sitting alongside quieter spaces for parents, while the nearby beach offers the same calm, shallow water Sani has become known for.

Although it’s firmly family-focused, Porto Sani never feels exclusively so. The design is contemporary and understated, the suites are beautifully proportioned, and the overall atmosphere remains relaxed rather than energetic. It’s easy to see why so many families return here year after year.

Being so close to the marina also means evenings take on a lovely rhythm. Dinner might be followed by ice cream overlooking the yachts, a gentle stroll through the boutiques or simply watching the world go by before heading back to the suite.

Sani Club

If your idea of the perfect holiday involves a little more peace and a little less bustle, Sani Club is well worth a closer look.

Occupying its own headland at the western edge of the resort, Sani Club feels noticeably more secluded than the other hotels. Low-rise bungalows and suites are scattered amongst olive trees and fragrant pine forest, all looking out across the Aegean towards Mount Olympus. It’s one of those views that quietly becomes part of your daily routine, whether you’re enjoying breakfast on your terrace or watching the sun disappear into the sea before dinner.

Although the marina and wider resort are only a short shuttle ride away, Sani Club has a very different rhythm. Guests tend to spend longer in one place, whether that’s by the infinity pool, on the private beach or wandering the coastal boardwalks that weave through the reserve. There’s less coming and going, which naturally creates a calmer atmosphere.

Accommodation follows the same philosophy. Bungalow suites feel private and residential, while many of the newer one and two-bedroom options come with private pools, making them particularly popular with families who value extra space or couples celebrating a special occasion.

The hotel has its own restaurants, bars and beach, but guests are never limited to staying put. One evening might be spent dining by the marina, the next enjoying fresh seafood overlooking the sea before taking the shuttle back beneath the stars.

It strikes a lovely balance. Close enough to enjoy everything Sani has to offer, but removed enough that it feels like its own destination within the resort.

Sani Dunes

Sani Dunes feels different almost immediately.

Opened in 2017, it’s the most design-led hotel in the collection, with clean architectural lines, soft neutral interiors and a more grown-up atmosphere throughout. While families are very welcome, there’s a greater sense of space and tranquillity here, making it particularly popular with couples and older families.

The centrepiece is impossible to miss: one of the largest heated lagoon-style swimming pools in Greece stretches through the heart of the resort, creating a striking focal point around which many of the rooms and suites are arranged. Beyond it, guests have direct access to a beautiful stretch of Blue Flag beach complete with attentive service and calm, shallow water.

Dining is another reason people choose Sani Dunes. Fresco, created in partnership with Michelin-starred chef Ettore Botrini, has become one of the standout restaurants across the entire resort, while the hotel’s relaxed beachside dining makes it just as appealing during the day.

Its position also works beautifully. The marina is only a short walk away, meaning evenings can begin with cocktails overlooking the yachts before choosing from dozens of restaurants across the wider resort.

For guests who enjoy staying active, Sani Dunes also sits particularly close to many of Sani’s sporting facilities, including the Rafa Nadal Tennis Center, padel courts, fitness studios and spa.

Sani Asterias

If you’re celebrating something special – or simply looking for the highest level of privacy and service within the resort – this is where we’d point you.

Sani Asterias is the smallest and most intimate of the five hotels, tucked quietly alongside Sani Marina with direct access to its own stretch of golden sand. Following its recent transformation, the hotel feels even more refined, with beautifully redesigned suites and expansive private residences, many complete with their own pools and generous outdoor living spaces.

While the atmosphere is undoubtedly peaceful, you’re never removed from the heart of the resort. The marina sits just moments away, making it wonderfully easy to wander out for a leisurely breakfast, browse the independent boutiques or choose between some of Sani’s finest restaurants without ever needing transport.

Service is where Asterias really comes into its own. It’s thoughtful, discreet and highly personalised, with dedicated concierge support helping arrange everything from yacht charters and private dining to spa appointments and sporting activities across the wider resort. It feels more akin to staying at an elegant boutique hotel than one of Europe’s largest luxury resorts.
